Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Serangoon North HUDC estate still have 3 more residents to consent the YES votes to achieve privatization.
It is a matter of time, privatization can be achievable and successful through the co-operation of the residents.

Serangoon North HUDC Residents
Looking at the various HUDC pricing of estates, Serangoon North HUDC estate is the lowest priced, at $361 to $377 psf in March 2010 before the estate is privatized.
Are the protem committee members and the residents interested to privatize the estate to increase our house value exponentially, such that it would be compareable to the housing prices of Eunos and Shunfu HUDC estates?
The decision lies with the 2 PC leaders; if they take no action about it, the Serangoon North HUDC estate cannot be privatized at all.
Will the residents hold a no confident motion to vote the 2 PC leaders to step down and allow James' or any residents' team to lead the privization process?
The residents cannot afford to wait for end of this year or after the general election is over before privatization can be embarked.

Protem commitee dissolved. Privatisation failed.
Fellow residents,
The chairman of the protem committee, Mr Francis Chin, has informed me that the protem committee is not functioning and the privatisation project has failed. We should seek the MP's advice whether another protem committee should be formed to replace the current one. We are only left with 27 units out of 88 units who have not voted to approve of this privatisation project before we can achieve 75% of "yes votes". A way to accomplish this is to organise a residents' house visit and educate residents on the advantages of privatisation. It is a waste to give up at this point of time, for a better future is ahead of us.
